The Non-governmental organization Centre for Development of Democracy and Youth “Sunčani Vrhovi” has the pleasure to invite you to the Countdown to 2010 – Development of Eco Villages Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro Steering Committee Meeting and project presentation. The meeting will take place from 15^th to 17^th January 2007 in the village of Brzeće near Brus within Kopaonik National Park. The exact conference venue description shall be forwarded upon reception of confirmation from local partners and hotels after the 2^nd January together with a preliminary list of participants.

 

Primary goals of this project are the development of a strategy of sustainable economic development of rural areas and enhancement of integrated biodiversity conservation and protection of natural resources. The project is based on transboundary cooperation of three NGOs from Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia, with cooperation and coordination of IUCN – The World Conservation Union, Programme Office for Southeastern Europe. Project activities in Serbia will be taking place in villages on the territory of Kopaonik National Park. The project is financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) in the frame of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC).

 

We invite you to join the meeting in order to learn more about the project activities and  implementation area, and to participate in the work of our partners and expert team. Please find attached the draft agenda and kindly inform us as soon as possible, whether you would be able to come and for which period you would need accomodation .
